6.2Confirmation of William’s Service Record
After his time at Wadham College under the 3rd Bn. K.O.R.L.R., the next recording of a man called W. S. Vincent was in Marseille, France on 8th March 1916.
In the search for records on our 2nd Lieut. (Lt.) William Slade Vincent, the records of another officer, a Lt. W.S. Vincent were also found. Our William was promoted to Lieut. later in his career, and not as early as the other W.S. Vincent.
